2017 Intelligent Automation Conference Chicago

Robots are coming and it’s exciting!  While Intelligent Automation (IA) processes, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence (AI), present some great opportunities, there are is also a lot to learn and challenges to overcome.

Chazey Partners is pleased to announce our sponsorship of the 2017 Intelligent Automation Conference in Chicago on July 31st – Aug 2nd.  At the event, we will be presenting a workshop on “RPA 101: Identify, Prioritize & Implement a Successful Intelligent Automation Pilot Program” (9am, July 31st).

The workshop takes you through the definitions, context and evolution of RPA and IA that leaders need to understand before embarking on an IA initiative.  We will demonstrate tools to prioritize and plan for those opportunities, so that you can gain the support of management and move forward with a successful implementation.  We will finish the workshop with IA case studies showing how automation can be leveraged, including in the most “barren” technology landscapes.

17th Annual European Shared Services & Outsourcing Week

Chazey Partners is pleased to announce its sponsorship at the 17th Annual Shared Services & Outsourcing Week Europe, the longest running and largest event in Europe for Shared Services, outsourcing, transformation and GBS professionals.

We are excited to be presenting at the event by hosting a Mid-Cap Masterclass:

Making Shared Services Work No Matter Your Size

As a mid-size company you may ask “Does size matter when it comes to success with Shared Services? Don’t you need to be a large company to achieve economies of scale through ‘centralization’ which is a key benefit from reorganizing into Shared Service Centers? Doesn’t scale mean that one has a better position when negotiating with potential third parties such as purchasing new technology enablers or considering outsourcers?”  The truth is that smaller size companies can also capitalize on Shared Services to achieve the triple benefit of cost savings, higher quality of service and improved control environment by leveraging the approach, principles and tools of Shared Services. And many of these are not “scale dependent”.

This in-depth Master Class offers you case studies, best practices, and proven and tested implementable approaches through a mix of presentations, panel sessions, roundtable discussions and interviews. Chazey Partners’ Founder and CEO, Phil Searle and Managing Director, Robert Towle, will be leading this masterclass.

Robert Towle of Chazey Partners Attended an Off-the-record “Roundtable” on Federal Shared Services

Robert Towle of Chazey Partners, a practitioners-led global management advisory business, specializing in Shared Services and business transformation, was invited to attend an off-the-record Roundtable discussion on Federal Shared Services organized by the Oversight and Government Reform Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives on March 30th 2017.  Robert was one of Shared Services professionals from the private sector exclusively invited to join this Roundtable.

The purpose of the Roundtable was to explore the private sector experience and adaptability of the business model to the government.  The discussion covered a wide range of topics, tapping into key issues such as governance, capacity, standardization, investment capital, among others.  The Committee members and staff were given an unfiltered, leading edge feel for the value proposition and implementation challenges.  It’s unclear what will come next, but the Roundtable is a promising sign of growing Congressional interest and potential for increased oversight and/or legislation to accelerate recent progress and benefits realization.

“We are honored to be invited to join this Roundtable and to share our Shared Services experience in the private sector and with government agencies at all levels.  There is no doubt that implementing  Shared Services in Federal government has some unique challenges, however, Federal Shared Services adoption could be improved and expedited through impassioned leadership and an effective partnership between the public and private sectors”, commented by Robert Towle, COO of Chazey Partners.
