Torsten Joined Chazey Partners in 2020. As Director Intelligent Automation he manages both functional and technical responsibilities. The functional aspect of his role includes bringing functional and subject matter experience, knowledge of leading practices, and strength in Chazey’s methodology to drive projects to a successful conclusion. The technical aspect of his role is focused on managing people, interactions, and a detailed project management plan, to ensure the overall project stays on track and meets its objectives.
Torsten is a seasoned practitioner with experience working in finance and shared services. He led automation and standardizing efforts for different processes and activities inside a SSC, which held operations for 11 different business units all over Latin America. His experience includes automations and RPA for different areas, such as procure to pay, order to cash, master data, HR, accounting, and operations.
Torsten has led an automation team and also worked as the project manager and scrum master for several projects that he oversaw. He was also involved in Operational excellence and continues improvement leading the Business intelligent team (BI). Torsten has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and it holds a Scrum product owner certification. He enjoys outdoor activities, playing tennis Tournaments and any dog friendly activity, which he can also bring his dog too. He has lived in Vancouver and during his studies he worked as a Sous-chef for a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant.
