Chazey Partners was engaged to develop the Finance and human resources end-to-end Shared Services solution across 22 countries. Functional scope consisted of finance and human resources, including technology enablement (optical character recognition, scanning, workflow) for an accelerated rollout, with a target of 40% in cost reductions from process efficiencies and labor arbitrage. This Common Services Transformation review and implementation consisted of Business Case through to Design/Build/Deploy/Stabilization plus expansion of scope. Deliverables included change management, organization design, process mapping/design, business analysis, benchmarking and best practice analysis.
One thing that I believe is important is that we decided not to go with a ‘Shared Services’ name, says Manolis Fafalios, Shared Services Director of Coca-Cola Hellenic…
“Chazey Partners’ approach is very hands-on and rooted in their deep experience as former practitioners and operational people. They have not only demonstrated the attributes we were initially looking for, but they also provide other unique dimensions. This leads to pragmatic and robust outcomes that works for us and avoids the pitfalls of a theoretical, template solution. In addition, the quality of Chazey people is such that their credibility is highly regarded right across the company, and they are regarded as an integral part of the team. This has given us the assurance and confidence to adopt a pace of change we would not have otherwise considered achievable.”
