Belcorp multifunctional Shared Services Center


Headquartered in Lima, Peru, Belcorp is a multi-brand international corporation with 40 years of experience in the manufacturing and sale of beauty products. The company market its products to 15 countries in Latin America as well as in the USA and they are the 3rd largest beauty company in South America and rated the 11th largest beauty direct seller in 2011.

The Company’s main production facility is located in Colombia with a capacity of 500,000 products per day, from where it exports to most countries in the region.  Belcorp employs over 8,920 people and operates through a direct sales model with a network of almost 1 million consultants who sell Belcorp’s brands (Ebel, Esika and Cyzone) across the region.

Belcorp supports its back office activities through a multifunctional Shared Services Center located in Tocancipá, Colombia supporting 16 countries in Latin America.  In September 2013, Chazey was engaged to assess the performance of their existing Finance and Accounting processes and identify initiatives to help the organization become a world class Shared Services operation. Through the combination of workshops and benchmarking analysis, we identified opportunities to optimize and simplify their in scope processes as well as improving the use of their existing ERP system (SAP). We also made significant recommendations to build a comprehensive Service Management Framework as well as redesign their existing organizational structure.  We finally produced a detailed business case and action plan to implement the initiatives that will help Belcorp become a world class Shared Services organization.
