The Lear Corporation,  a Fortune 500 company, is a leading supplier of automotive seating and electrical power management systems. With headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Lear maintains 221 locations in 36 countries around the globe and employs approximately 115,000 employees.

Chazey Partners were retained to conduct a comprehensive Feasibility Study with a focus on determining what the Operating Model and Implementation Plan for shared services would look like in Lear, including a detailed Business Case (Financials and Narrative), recommended Approach and Location Assessment.

As a result of the work conducted, Lear established its Shared Service Centre (SSC) at a ‘greenfield site’ in Brno in the Czech Republic. The SSC provides finance support services to all of its European operations.
